Regular workshops

TERM TIME WORKSHOPS (£24/£12 reductions per term)

Each workshop runs for 10 weeks from 10 Jan – 23 Mar 2012.
Spring Half Term: Mon 13 – Fri 17 Feb 2012.

Tuesdays

DANCE PLAYHOUSE
3-5 yrs, 4.15pm-5.15pm
An imaginative workshop using music and rhythm to explore a variety of themes through dance and movement.

DRAMA TIME
6-8 yrs, 5.25pm-6.25pm
Choose a theme, character and plot to work on throughout the term using improvisation and role-play.

THE TRICYCLE YOUTH THEATRE GROUP
16-25 yrs, 7pm-9pm, £40/£20 per term
Learn a variety of dramatic skills and techniques including character work, mime, acting, improvisation and devising.

Wednesdays

JUMPING JACKS 1
18mths-3yrs, 10.15am-11am

JUMPING JACKS 2
2-4yrs , 11.15am-noon
Ideal pre-school workshops for toddlers with nursery rhymes, songs, music and movement. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

DRAMA PLAYHOUSE
3-5 yrs, 4pm-5pm
Drama, games, storytelling, music and movement.

CHARADE
8-10 yrs , 5.10pm-6.10pm
Improvised drama, mime, music and stories from a variety of cultural traditions.

Thursdays

MUSIC PLAYHOUSE:
3-5yrs, 4pm-4.45pm
An adventure in rhythm and sounds with songs, stories and lots of musical instruments.

‘ACT’ION
11-13 yrs, 5.30pm-6.30pm
Choose a theme, character and plot to work on throughout the term using improvisation and role-play.

Fridays

HOPSCOTCH
5-7 yrs, 4.15pm-5.15pm
Drama, games, storytelling, music and movement.

LIMELIGHT
14-16yrs, 5.30pm-7pm
Develop your dramatic skills through improvisation, role-play, characterisation, movement and mime.

THE PAINTBOX
12-18YRS YOUNG ARTISTS GROUP

The Paintbox is the home of the Tricycle Young Artists Group led by our Artist-in-Residence. Twice-weekly classes are professionally run offering support and tuition to young people aged 12-18 years with a particular interest and aptitude for art.

Adult life drawing classes are held every Thursday and occasional Saturdays.

Saturday Theatre Shows- Saturdays at 11am and 1pm (Please note new time). £6/£5 in advance. Reductions available for: ES40 holders, students, people with disabilities and their children. Groups: buy 10 tickets get the 11th for free.

Family Films: £5/4 Reductions available for: under 16s, ES40 holders, students, people with disabilities and their children.
