4. Personal Information
What information does the Tricycle Theatre collect?
The Tricycle Theatre collects “Personal Information” – any information which identifies you such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, country of residence and credit and debit card details.
When is personal information stored and how is it used?
We will only retain personal information when you use one of the services available on our website, such as posting a comment on a web page, subscribing to one of our email lists or when purchasing tickets. Personal Information will be held on the Box Office system provider (in this case Spektix) and used for operational purposes such as the processing of bookings and orders in connection with our on-line ticket and book ordering services and for mailing list subscriptions.
In order to process a transaction, your Personal Information and card details may be passed to third party service providers, for example Spektrix our (box office system provider).
Spektrix captures card and address details via the Tricycle website and transfers them to the Payment Service Provider YesPay. Spektrix is PCI Level 1 compliant and do not store full card numbers in the system.
Card details will only be used for the purpose of handling an individual transaction.
All sensitive data is encrypted in transit. The only parts of the Spektrix application that are not encrypted are website pages that only transfer non-sensitive, publicly available data (e.g. the public event listings page). The back office application is always encrypted.
Can I see the information you have stored about me?
You have the right to obtain from us an electronic or paper copy of all Personal Information concerning yourself by e-mailing email@example.com or writing to Kate Champneys, Box Office Manager, Tricycle Theatre, 269 Kilburn High Road, London, NW6 7JR. You may need to pay a fee to obtain this information.
Can I make changes or request for my personal information to be destroyed?
If you decide not to use our services any further and notify us either in writing or by email as mentioned above, we shall remove you from our mailing lists and make your account inactive. Upon request we can destroy any retained Personal Information. Changes can also be requested by contacting the details above.
How is personal information protected?
a) Data in the data centre is secured through physical means – a combination of 24/7 manned security, CCTV monitoring, photo ID validation, key fob entry, perimeter fencing, and anti-tailgating. Our server cluster is scanned weekly for potential vulnerabilities, and our infrastructure team quickly addresses any issues that this scan alerts them to. We engage a qualified third party to perform annual external and internal penetration testing.
b) The server is hosted at a secure data centre.
c) The site is regularly maintained, upgraded and checked for security issues. It is also fully backed-up.
5. Email List Subscriptions
a) The Personal Information you supply when you subscribe to one of our e-mail lists will be used by the Tricycle Theatre to keep you up-to-date with events and activities organised by the Tricycle.
b) When joining one of our email lists you are also given the opportunity to opt in to receiving information from other arts organisations. The Tricycle Theatre will only pass on your Personal Information for marketing purposes if you have consented to this information being shared. You consent to this by ticking the relevant box. In these instances, we supply your Personal Information for one-off use by the other arts organisations. Each e-mail we send you offers you the opportunity to amend these preferences, or you can ask us to do this, by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org
c) If you would like to revise the information provided to us at any time, or feel what we currently have on record is incorrect, you may ask us to update the information by e-mailing email@example.com

We collect this information to help us diagnose problems and administer our systems and to audit the geographical make-up of users and how they have arrived at our site; that is, from what other sites have visitors arrived – this information being obtained from the referrer URL.
c) We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that you remain anonymous even though we include your IP address in our aggregate information. However, we can and will attempt to use IP addresses to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our terms and conditions, or to protect our services and other users.
