A bus, a food van, a salon, a clothes shop.
Preoccupied with the daily grind, the residents of Kilburn High Road are busy. Too busy, in fact, to notice each other. But when a stranger arrives, their worlds begin to collide in a way that no one saw coming.
Suhayla El-Bushra is a playwright who used to live in Kilburn. Her plays include: Cuckoo (Unicorn 2014), Pigeons (Royal Court 2013), False Teachers (66 Books, Bush 2012).
The Kilburn Passion is a new commission written for the Tricycle Young Company that was first performed as part of the Takeover Festival in April 2014. Age guidance 14+
