SWEET INSPIRATION
SWEET INSPIRATION is an extravaganza of songs, stories and poems exploring the Caribbeanexperience of the 50s and 60s. Back then the songs were sweet and melodious, the stories funny and touching, the poems lively and dramatic.

Featuring work from top Caribbean authors such as Derek Walcott, Louise Bennett and Paul Keenes Douglas. The music will reflect a time when lyrics were less strident and imbued with wit, satire and wonderful tunes.

SWEET INSPIRATION will be performed by singers from the London Community Gospel Choir. The poetry and prose will be told by leading stars of stage, television and music including Victor Romero Evans, Malcolm Frederick and Janet Kay.

SWEET INSPIRATION is a show for all the family, an evening of words and music that celebrates the Caribbean, leaving audiences of all ages and backgrounds singing, laughing and feeling great.
