    One Under

    03 February-05 March 2005
The Tricycle Theatre presents the world premiere of
    ONE UNDER
    By Winsome Pinnock
    Director
    Jennie Darnell
“…certainly slakes the dramatic thirst” Evening Standard on WATER
“Richly entertaining evening” The Guardian on WATER
“… bereavement can overshadow life: the dead can destroy the living”

When tube train driver Cyrus experiences his first “one under” it sets in motion a life-altering chain of events. In his search to understand the motives of his victim, Cyrus gets caught up in a dark tunnel of secrets.

A thrilling mystery, by one of Britain’s foremost Black writers, sends you hurtling through London’s underworld.

Winsome Pinnock’s other plays include CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET? (National Theatre); MULES, TALKING IN TONGUES (Royal Court) and WATER, which received its world premiere at the Tricycle Theatre in 2001.
