    Young Artists 2009

    Young Artists 2009
An exhibition by the Tricycle Young Artists Group

    23rd June – 11th July

The Tricycle Young Artists Group is made up of gifted and talented young
artists who are aged between 12 and 18 years old.  The weekly class is run
by the Tricycle Artist in Residence, Natalie Ryde, who provides support and
tuition to young people who have a particular interest and aptitude for art,
many of whom have been nominated to attend by their local school.

Young Artists 2009 provides an opportunity for the Tricycle Young Artists
Group to exhibit their work in a professional gallery. Drawing inspiration
from the Tricycle Gallery’s ongoing exhibition programme, each individual is
helped towards creating work of a high standard. Students concentrate their
creative talents on experimenting with different techniques and motivating
themselves to explore themes of personal interest, collected from
contemporary art, current affairs and art history.
