JSAF PRESENTS The Age of Stupid Screening introduced by Ed Miliband

The Jewish Social Action Forum hosts an unmissable screening of The Age of Stupid as part of the launch of the Jewish Community’s Environmental Campaign.

This drama-documentary stars Pete Postlethwaite as an old man living in the devastated world of 2055, watching “archive” footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change while we had the chance? Shot in seven countries over a period of three years, and crowd-funded by the donations of 228 individuals and organisations, it received critical acclaim at its London premiere, hosted in a solar-powered cinema tent, and is set for its imminent global release.

The screening will be introduced by Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change Ed Miliband who will also be answering questions from the audience. This will be his keynote address to the Jewish community in the runup to the Copenhagen climate talks in December, billled by many as the last chance we have to make a stand against climate change.
