FIRST BLAST: Proliferation – the first installment in our new season The Tricycle Goes Nuclear opened on Thursday night.

We’ve picked out our favourite pictures to share with you, dear readers, ahead of the opening of the show’s counterpoint, SECOND BLAST: Present Dangers, which opens next Thursday (16th of Feb). Enjoy!

Each week the Tricycle’s Artist-in-Residence, Natalie Ryde, meets with young people aged between 14 – 18 who are hoping to develop a personal art portfolio. Natalie introduces the Young Artists to techniques which develop technical skills in drawing, painting and printmaking, as well as enhancing critical thinking. 

If you’re aged 14 – 18 and want to get involved, contact Natalie at natalie@tricycle.co.uk. Young Artists meet on Tuesdays 4-6pm (term time only). Places are FREE but booking is essential.

And from 15th – 20th of May, we’ll be having our annual exhibition of artwork by our Junior and Senior Young Artists, so come along! As a taster, here’s an image of the Tricycle by Amir, aged 18:
